OSKALOOSA, IA — The Daily Youth Theatre is proud to announce the next session of Daily Arts Academy, a five week after school program. The Daily Youth Holiday Special begins on November 18 and runs through December 20.

This session will focus on building stories and performing them on stage. Campers will create an entire world and back story centered on the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future from Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol.

The Red Camp, for students in 1st – 3rd grade, starts Tuesday, November 19th and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Cost is $50. The Blue Camp runs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for campers in 4th – 8th grades and starts on Monday, November 18. Cost for Blue Camp is $70. A public showcase on Friday, December 20 will allow students to show off what they created.

The Daily Youth Theatre aims to bring arts education to youth through programming and community involvement. Students will strengthen creativity, communication skills, confidence, teamwork, and personal growth through the theatre arts.

Registration and payment will be accepted until the first day of class. If you have multiple students or would like to discuss need-based financial aids or alternate payment plans, those options are available.
