Oskaloosa MS Cross Country Results Conference

Oskaloosa Indians

Last night was a little more windy and cooler than we have been used to during the past cross country meets, but our girl’s and boy’s ran hard. Our top girl runner Aleeya Cheeney got 2nd place her highest place finish all year. The rest of the girl’s worked hard too and they placed 3rd in the conference as a team. Our top boy runner Carter Huyser came in 6th place. The boy’s team placed 4th place only 5 points away from getting 2nd place.

Overall, I am proud of my runners and how hard they have worked this season. They have accomplished a lot by breaking several personal records and working hard all season as a team. I am looking forward to seeing all these talented runners next year either as 8th graders or as freshman running on the High School team. They are very talented group and I know they will continue to improve and be successful.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our teams, we really appreciate the encouragement and support!
