The Wonder Bread Years tonight at George Daily Auditorium.

OSKALOOSA, IA — A fresh and funny salute to Americana, The Wonder Bread Years is a fast-paced show that gracefully walks the line between stand-up comedy and theatre. Laugh and savor the past with Pat Hazell, long-time comedy veteran for shows like Seinfeld and The Tonight Show, at the George Daily Auditorium on Monday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m.

The Wonder Bread Years is not just about humor – it’s also about that childhood sense of wonder and how to reclaim it as an adult.

The show was written by Pat Hazell, who draws on his memories growing up in the ‘Wonder Bread era.’ One of his favorite memories is wearing a Twister tarp as a rain poncho.

Hazell says he looks back on all the dangerous toys he grew up with, like Lawn Jarts and Clackers, and thinks how crazy those inventions were, especially when they were put in the hands of an 8-year-old.

The Wonder Bread Years will run approximately 90 minutes with one intermission and costs $20 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets, including group discounts, are available through the George Daily box office at (641) 672-0799 or online at www.georgedaily.org. This performance is sponsored by Clow Valve Company.
