Nelson Pioneer Farm and Museum will close the 2013 Season with an event for all ages.

Autumn’s Adventures combines all the fun of the fall season with the beauty of Autumn on the Farm. Enjoy a scavenger hunt challenge where you can write with a quill pen, eat an apple off a string, and taste seasonal treats like cider donuts and corn cob jelly. There will be kettle corn popping on the fire and root beer bubbling in the children. Make a leaf rubbing or create your own corn husk doll.

It is a seasonal celebration like no other. Only at Nelson Pioneer Farm and Museum in Oskaloosa on Saturday, October 5th from 11 am to 3pm.
