GRINNELL’S LAURA KRULL NAMED TO ITA ALL-AMERICA TENNIS TEAM

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Laura Krull ’13 (New Braunfels, Texas/Keystone National) has been named to the NCAA Division III All-America Tennis Team by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Krull, made history this past spring by becoming the first Pioneer woman to earn a spot in the NCAA D-III National Tennis Championships. Last fall, Krull became the first-ever Grinnell woman to win the USTA/ITA Regional title. By winning, she advanced to the National Tourney where she placed sixth.

Krull, also an Academic All-American, finished 18-5 in singles play in 2013.
