Welcome To Medicare Seminar on Aug. 7 Moves to ISU Extension Office

MAHASKA COUNTY – Due to great community response, the “Welcome to Medicare” seminar, scheduled Aug. 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, has been moved from Mahaska Health Partnership’s campus to the Mahaska County ISU Extension Office, 212 North I Street in Oskaloosa.

“With more than 70 people registered, the space on MHP’s campus was getting pretty tight, so we are very happy that the Extension Office was available,” said Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) Volunteer Counselor JoAnn Schefers.

“Registration for the event is now closed, and people who registered are being contacted by phone, but we want to make sure the word gets out.”
