NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION  SOUTH 7TH STREET PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT

Dear Business Owners and Residents:

This letter is to inform you that construction activity will begin the morning of May 6, 2013, weather permitting, on South 7th Street from A Avenue to 6th Avenue. The scope of this project includes asphalt overlay, new concrete curb & gutter sections, new ADA accessible sidewalk ramp reconstruction, new on-street parking bays, sidewalk and driveway pavement replacement, and alley approach improvements. The plans include a 150 foot bus bay to accommodate three busses for Webster School on South 7th Street.

The construction activity will close thru-traffic in both directions on South 7th Street from A Avenue to 6th Avenue. The total construction activity will be 50 working days. As always be on the look out for flaggers and use caution when entering an area designated as a “construction zone”.

NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION EAST MALL PARKING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Dear Business Owners and Residents:

This letter is to inform you that construction activity will begin the morning of April 19, 2013, weather permitting, on Mall parking lot at the southwest corner of the intersection of A Street and High Avenue West. The scope of the project includes new concrete pavement on the mall parking lot and the public street, sidewalks, curb and gutter with intakes, and storm drains. The new parking lot will have improved vehicular traffic flow, additional sidewalks and ADA parking stalls to make it more pedestrian friendly.

The construction activity on High Avenue and North A Street may reduce traffic down to one open lane while still allowing vehicles traveling in both directions to be diverted around the localized work areas. The total construction activity will be 45 working days. As always be on the look out for flaggers and use caution when entering an area designated as a “construction zone”.
