Oskaloosa, Iowa – Have you bought your tickets for “Ladies Night” yet??? They can be purchased at 804 Décor, Doty Computers, Expressions Hair Studio and Painted Daisy in Oskaloosa; or Crow Row in New Sharon.

This is the third year for Ladies Night and each year is bigger and better. This year’s event, being held on Friday, March 22nd from 6 to 9:30 will be at the Musco Technology Building, just north of the PAC Center on the William Penn University campus. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.

Jeff Akers will be our emcee this year, with musical entertainment provided by Beth Brostrom. There will be appetizers and desserts to feast on, along with wine tasting provided by CB Liquor.

Door prizes will be given out throughout the evening; there will also be vendors for your shopping convenience; and again there will be raffles of prizes donated by 13 area businesses.

Zumba Fitness with Lori Smith and her Zumba dancers will get the place and there will be a style show by Maurices; along with makeovers by several area salons.

Of course, there will be the Purse Auction and new this year will be a dessert auction.

We’re excited to add another new event this year, the “Queen of Bling” pageant. The winner will receive a prize package with a value of over $300.00.

Please join us for an evening of good food, great entertainment, prizes, auctions, makeovers and other general craziness! What better way to spend a Friday night with your best friend, mother, daughter, aunt…. Ladies, bring on the bling!!!

All proceeds from the event benefit the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Mahaska County. Unfortunately, cancer touches almost everyone, either personally, or through a family member or friend.

Help to find a cure by supporting this terrific event.
