William Penn University plans to participate in RAGBRAI® 2013
Oskaloosa, IA – Strap on your helmet and slather on the sunblock, William Penn University is organizing a team of alumni, faculty, staff, and students to participate in RAGBRAI® this summer! RAGBRAI®, which stands for The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa®, is the oldest, largest, and longest bicycle riding event in the world! The route averages 468 miles over 6 to 7 days and changes every year to include different host communities that welcome riders from all over the county. This year riders will overnight in the city of Oskaloosa, home to William Penn University, on the evening of Thursday, July 25 as they travel from Knoxville to Fairfield.
William Penn University would like to open its team to all members of the Penn family. Participants can register online by visiting www.RAGBRAI.com. After clicking on the registration tab, fill out your information and finish by joining the WPU Alumni Group. A registration fee of just $275 will cover your RAGBRAI® fee, the support vehicle fee, and an official, custom WPU cycling jersey! What a great way to represent William Penn University across the great state of Iowa!
