OMS Wrestling Team Competes In Their Largest Meet So Far

The Oskaloosa MS Wrestling team faced a multitude of opponents at their largest meet of the year on Thursday night. The Indians went 16-12 against wrestlers from Newton, South Tama, East Marshall, Hudson, Union, and Dike-New Hartford. The OMS athletes wrestled hard and some veterans made some rookie mistakes but all-in-all it was a successful night for the Indians. Tyler Zickefoose, Chris Miller, Alex Hanna, Vincent Ramirez, Nick Shaffner all recorded wins on the night. Kyler Salazaar, Callan Tomlin, and Josh Diehl were all perfect on the night and a special congratulations goes out to Talon Munger for wrestling a great match and earning his first win of the season by pin. The OMS wrestlers are back in action at their first home meet of the season on December 18th so come pack the gym and cheer them on.
