Mahaska Health Partnership Parking Lot to Undergo Changes
MAHASKA COUNTY – This weekend, construction crews will begin to modify the parking lot on the north side of MHP’s Oskaloosa campus, outside the Medical Specialty Center.
The Medical Specialty Center, entrance #4, is home to MHP Specialty Services as well as Family Medical Center. On the evening of Friday, Oct. 26, crews will begin removing the painted parking stall stripes and new stripes will be painted Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, Oct. 29, parking will be oriented to face east/west instead of north/south as it was in the past.
“Reformatting the parking lot in this way will create more parking spaces for our patients and visitors,” shared MHP Chief Operating Officer Erin Baldwin. “We appreciate the understanding our patients have shown during construction of our new Patient Care Wing.
“The new Patient Care Wing will provide us with the facilities and equipment needed to provide the best care possible to the communities we serve,” Baldwin stressed. “We have worked closely with our doctors, nurses, staff, patients and architects to plan for this addition which will bring our facilities up to the same high quality level as our healthcare team.”
