Volunteers Work on Trail
Oskaloosa, Iowa – Carl Drost and Martin Roepke teamed up on the John Deere 650J dozer and the 4450 MFWD tractor on Thursday afternoon. Together they spent a few hours volunteering out at the Lacey Recreation Complex relocating the Lacey Recreation Trail just North East of the East Babe Ruth field which ends to the East of Green Street after it goes through the box culvert. Besides Drost and Roepke many others are currently volunteering to keep the Lacey Recreation Trail in great condition for all users by clearing brush, picking up trash and trimming over grown trees. With the fall season in full swing MCRF encourages all community members to take advantage of the beautiful weather and trail.
