COMMENTS
Huge conference win for the Rockets. We started out playing tense not passing well and Davis County jumped out to a 7-1 lead. After we got settled down and started passing better, there was no looking back. We got into the grove of our offense and played well. Blocking was a huge factor for us tonight. We were a force at the net in shutting down their big hitters. We also served very tough making Davis County scramble to get a good pass allowing us to get back a free ball to set up our offense. I am proud of the focus the girls had tonight. We knew it would be a match to have that total team effort to pull out a win. Everyone brought it tonight. Our next match is Tuesday Sept. 25 at Albia.
