Live Healthy Hike at Cedar Bluffs
Oskaloosa, Iowa – Come join the Mahaska County Conservation Board and the Mahaska County Wellness Coalition on a hike around Cedar Bluffs State Preserve on Saturday, September 15th. The hike will begin at 9:00 am at the Cedar Bluffs parking lot.
Cedar Bluffs contains 225 acres of the most unique topography in Southern Iowa. While hiking, you will see deep sandstone canyons and bluffs shaped over many years by nature. There is also an observation deck overlooking the Des Moines river valley. Cedar Bluffs is located 9 1/2 miles southwest of Beacon, IA on G62, which is the gravel road just beyond the Eveland Access turnoff. The parking lot is on the southwest corner of the property.
