Grinnell PD is looking for this robbery suspect

Grinnell, Iowa – On September 10, 2012, at approximately 08:34 a.m., Grinnell officers were dispatched to a bank robbery at the Community First Credit Union, located at 205 West Street. Just prior to dispatch, a white male entered the Credit Union and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, the suspect fled the area on foot. No injuries were sustained during the incident. Grinnell officers, along with deputies from the Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol, canvassed the area but did not locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male with short dark hair, slim build and facial hair. He was wearing a baseball cap, sun glasses, hooded sweat shirt and sweat pants that potentially contained a printed number on the left leg/thigh area.

Grinnell PD is seeking information on this robbery suspect
