GRINNELL’S BROWN NAMED MIDWEST CONFERENCE MEN’S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PERFORMER OF THE WEEK

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Joseph Brown ’15, a 5-11, 165-pound forward from Berkeley, Calif. (Berkeley), has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Performer of the Week.
Brown kicked off the 2012 campaign on the right foot Friday as he recorded a hat trick in a 5-1 victory over Iowa Conference foe Coe College. Brown scored in the 10th, 18th and 72nd minutes. He followed that performance up by recording an assist in Sunday’s 2-2 tie with Central College.
The MWC Defensive Performer of the Week is Noah Davis of St. Norbert College.
