Des Moines River Canoe Float
Mahaska County Conservation Board
A day-long canoe float on the Des Moines River is being planned for Saturday, August 18th by the Mahaska County Conservation Board and Mahaska County Wellness Coalition. The float will begin at 9:00 am at Eveland Access and end at the Hardfish Access near Eddyville. A limited number of canoes, kayaks, life jackets and paddles are available to borrow from MCCB. Participants may bring bring their own equipment to use. Lunch will be provided. Please pre-register for the float by calling 641-673-9327.
