Central College

PELLA—Lexi Hanna is the new dance and cheer coach at Central College.

A 2011 graduate of Iowa State University, Hanna has served six years as a dance instructor at Marching Auxiliaries and M.A Dance, located in Dallas, Texas. She choreographed three halftime shows for the Capital One Bowl from 2007-09 and taught technique and choreography to high school teams across the nation. She was also a judge at regional and national dance competitions.

Hanna spent the last year as a production assistant and video editor at KMEG 14/KPTH FOX 44 in Sioux City and previously worked as a production assistant and photographer at KCAU Channel 9, also in Sioux City.

Hanna, who is already on campus, also serves the Dutch as an admission representative.

Central’s dance team has captured three straight Division III hip-hop titles at the Iowa Dance and Drill state championships. Last year the squad also took runner-up honors in pom and placed third in jazz.
