Three Search Warrants Executed Linked To Meth
Oskaloosa, Iowa – A Mahaska County Sheriff’s Press Release
As a result of an on-going investigation, The Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office, The Oskaloosa Police Department, The Mahaska County Drug Task Force, The Southeast Iowa Drug Task Force, The Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the Iowa State Patrol executed 3 search warrants on Tuesday July 3rd, 2012.
These warrants were executed at 2377 Pilgrim Path, 525 Cherry St. in Barnes City and a farm located south of Barnes City. As a result of the investigation, Law enforcement officers uncovered a Lab for manufacturing methamphetamine, precursors to manfacture methamphetamine and over 5 grams of methamphetamine. Also seized were numerous marijuana plants, 4 vehicles and US currency.
Those arrested in the operation were Warren Frits age 47 of Oskaloosa, charged with Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, Bobbie Frits age 43 of Oskaloosa, charged with Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, Brent Smith age 39 from New Sharon, charged with Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, Norman Walker age 48 of West Chester, charged with Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and Possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. David Sanders age 59, of Barnes City, charged with Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, Manufacture of marijuana and Fail to affix drug tax stamp.
The investigation is on-going at this time.
