Academic All-MCC Teams Announced

Oskaloosa–The Midwest Collegiate Conference announced its academic all-conference honors for the 2011-2012 year.

A total of 890 student-athletes were honored in 15 sports, including a number of student-athletes participating in and receiving academic honors in multiple sports.

William Penn had 75 student-athletes earn the honor, led by ten from both the softball and volleyball teams.

To be eligible for the award, athletes were required to be on their team’s postseason roster or have competed at their sport’s conference championship event. They also must have completed at least two consecutive terms at their current institution and own a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale.
