Cyndee Lynn McKenna passed away at the age of 53 at her home in Riverside, CA peacefully with her family beside her on June 2, 2012. She was born on January 25, 1959 at the Ottumwa Hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa to Roger and Kay Swanson of Oskaloosa, Iowa. She graduated from Oskaloosa High school in Oskaloosa, Iowa with the Class of 1977. She attended Kirksville College in Kirksville, Missouri. On May 14, 1983 on the Queen Lousie in San Pedro, CA she was united in marriage to Patrick John McKenna. She was employed at Von’s Grocery in Riverside, CA for many years until illness forced her retirement in January of 2012. She enjoyed camping and traveling around the United States with her Grandparents Ralph and Alberta Casey and in later years with Patrick.
She is survived by her husband Patrick McKenna of Riverside, Ca. Two stepsons, Terry McKenna of Redondo Beach, CA. and William and Elizabeth McKenna of Las Vegas, NV. A granddaughter Jessica McKenna of Las Vegas, NV. Her Mother Kay Swanson of Oskaloosa, IA. Two sisters Kimberly and Loren Hols and family of Oskaloosa, IA, Tasi and Joel DeJoode and family of Oskaloosa, IA. and many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
She was preceeded in death by her father Roger Swanson of Oskaloosa, IA. Grandparents Ralph and Alberta Casey of Oskaloosa, IA. and Grandparents Raymond and Ferne Swanson of Chariton, IA.
