GRINNELL’S HOLLIBAUGH REPEATS AS MWC SOUTH DIVISION COACH OF THE YEAR

GRINNELL, Iowa – For the third season in a row, Grinnell College’s Tim Hollibaugh has been named the Midwest Conference South Division Baseball Coach of the Year.

Grinnell claimed the South Division title for the fourth consecutive year, including an outright crown for the third straight year, while going 8-4 in divisional play. In the past three years, Grinnell is a combined 31-5 in the South Division.

The Pioneers, who were 16-20 overall, also advanced to the MWC Championships for the fourth consecutive season. Hollibaugh reached a milestone in this year’s tournament when he collected his 250th career victory.

This is Hollibaugh’s fifth Coach of the Year award. The North Coach of the Year this season is Tom Winske of St. Norbert College.
