Yates and Kime Hit One Over the Fence

Oskaloosa, Iowa – USSSA boys scrimmaged double headers on Sunday April 15th at the Lacey Recreation Complex. Six teams competed in the scrimmages including Osky Lightning vs Albia and Knoxville vs Fairfield in 12U divison and Eddville vs Fairfield in 9U. “The wind is strong but the sun is shining and it is a great day for a baseball game! ” said one mom in the stands as Osky’s Lightning won their first game 20 to 14. Lightning’s Rian Yates and Jacob Kime each hit one over the fence for a home run against Albia. Lightning ended the double header with a second win 21 to 5. USSSA boys will compete in double headers again next Sunday April 21st at the complex.
