Great fans for High School Soccer

Students formed this tunnel for the girls soccer team after their recent victory (submitted photo)

Congratulations to the Osky High School soccer teams for the community support at their games. High school girls and boys teams are playing this seasons games to a larger crowd at the stadium at Lacey Recreation Complex.

The boys first game last week brought a record high attendance with 80% more fans than last year’s highest count. The girls first game at home , held on Thursday night, brought almost 20% higher attendance.

The girls won their second victory of the season making them 2 and 0 to date. “What I love to see,” said one parent in the stands,” is the support that the two teams are giving each other at the games!” The girls cheered the boys at full volume on Tuesday night. The boys returned the favor Thursday night for the girls; cheering just as mightily and forming a tunnel after the girls victory.
