Eggs-citement at the Stadium

Oskaloosa Elementary Students participated in an Easter Egg Hunt at the Lacey Complex Thursday (submitted photo)

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Happy smiles and eggs, eggs, eggs were the focus of the latest event at the Stadium at Lacey Recreation Complex. Mrs Pederson’s and Ms Doud’s 5th grade classes came to the stadium Thursday morning for an Easter egg hunt on the turf. Children flew as the whistle blew and rushed to gather as many eggs as possible in their baskets. Mrs Pederson said that they would take the eggs back to class and use them as a math tool to divide the eggs evenly in the class, then they would take them home and enjoy the candy inside! Ms. Stout’s 3rd grade class also held an egg hunt on the Kentfield Babe Ruth fields at the complex.
