131st Annual OACDG Awards Banquet seeks nominations

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The 131st Annual Awards Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, May 10, 2012 at The Peppertree Restaurant. In preparation for the banquet the Oskaloosa Area Chamber is requesting nominations for the following awards: Retail Business of the Year, Service Business of the Year, Industry of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Community Improvement Award, Educator of the Year and the Chuck Russell Historic Preservation Award. Please suggest nominations for & (reasons for) any of the above by noon, April 16.
The banquet includes a social time, with a cash bar, live music and great appetizers, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. The Annual Banquet will commence after dinner with several civic awards being presented. All OACDG members and guests are invited to attend the social time, but you must make reservations for the dinner by Monday, April 30. The menu includes your choice of prime rib, lemon pepper salmon, or cranberry pork medallions. Each is served with salad, potato, dinner roll, dessert and beverage.
