Oskaloosa Indians in action on Friday
Oskaloosa, Iowa- The Oskaloosa Indians narrowly defeated the Grinnell Tigers giving Osky its’ first win of the season and its’ season opener win since 2002. At halftime, the Indians had put up a 35-10 lead over the Tigers. However, the Tigers were not going down without a fight. The Tigers held the Indians scoreless throughout the second half, and managed to take a 38-35 lead over the Indians with 1:30 seconds of game time remaining. However, the Indians were not done yet. The Indians began to drive down the field on their effort to take back the lead and win the game. The brief drive culminated with a 62 yard Hook and Lateral touchdown play with :13 seconds remaining to give the Indians a 41 to 38 victory over the Tigers.
