Question of the Week: Should President Obama return early from his vacation?

Oskaloosa, Iowa- Last week, we asked you if you were looking forward to the start of school. 24 residents responded, with 17 residents (71%) saying Yes, and 7 residents (29%) saying No. The Question of the Week poll is unscientific and does not reflect the views or opinions of Osky News. This week, we focus on a national issue. Recently, President Barack Obama and his family embarked on a vacation to Martha’s Vineyard. The vacation came after the downgrade of the United State’s Credit Rating by S&P. It also comes as tensions in Libya begin to heat up again.

Those who say President Obama should return to Washington early cite national and international issues. They say that the President needs to return to Washington early so he can work to help solve the economic issues the nation is now facing. Those who say President Obama shouldn’t return early say the President has no power of these issues. They say that if the President was to return early, it would not help us as he has little to no power in addressing these issues.
