My thoughts on Osky News a year later
Osky News
One year ago when I was mowing a lawn for a friend, we came up with the idea to start Osky News. Starting out, I never really expected it it to take off like it has in the past year. I was excited to be writing the news, as I liked to write. I just figured that we would cover what little local news there was (or so we thought), and hope that someday we would have a decent amount of followers. I had no clue of all the things that happen in Oskaloosa! I am very grateful for these things as that means we have plenty of stories for you to read!
It has been an adventure covering the things that happen in Oskaloosa, both good and bad. Politics is my “thing” and I love writing about the different political events in Oskaloosa. Whether it be City Council meetings, community forums, or a Presidential Candidate visit, I enjoy them all!
Thank you so much for you undying support. It is hard to imagine that what started out as an idea over a lawn mowing job, would grow to become very popular. I am pleased to say that I have been able to be a part of Osky News and I look forward continuing to writing for Osky News.
