10 WARRIORS SET TO MOVE ONTO FOUR-YEAR LEVEL

Ottumwa, IA – 10 members of the Indian Hills Basketball squad have signed national letters of intent to move on to the four-year level. The class of 2026 is spread out across eight different NCAA conferences.

The strong tradition of Warrior alums moving onto to high-caliber NCAA programs continues as head coach Cole Dewey will send nine individuals to the NCAA Division I level.

Over the past 10 seasons alone, Indian Hills has now sent nearly 100 individuals onto the four-year level.

Taj-Auke | St. Bonaventure University

Au-Duke will head East to St. Bonaventure following an All-American season for the Warriors. Au-Duke earned first-team NJCAA All-American honors after leading the squad in points and assists, including the most assists for the program in nine seasons.

The Bonnies are under the direction of first-year head coach Mike MacDonald.

Mason Costello | Appalachian State University

Costello will make the trek to NCAA DI Appalachian State in the Sun Belt Conference. Costello was tapped as a NJCAA Third-Team All-American following an impressive two-year career at Indian Hills where the sharpshooter ranks in the top-10 in school history in career three-point shots made.

The Mountaineers, under the direction of eighth-year head coach Dustin Kerns, posted a 19-13 record last season.

Mattia de Martin | University of Wyoming

de Martin will suit up for head coach Sundance Wicks at Wyoming after a strong freshman campaign for the Warriors in 2025-26. de Martin shot 52.9 percent from three-point range and was twice named to the ICCAC Academic All-Region team.

KJ LaMonte | Mercer University

The 2025-26 ICCAC Player of the Year, LaMonte will head to Mercer after a standout sophomore season at Indian Hills. LaMonte was named to the NJCAA All-America Second-Team after averaging 11.7 points per game while scoring in double-figures 21 times on the year.

LaMonte will join former Indian Hills standout Quinton Perkins II on head coach Ryan Ridder’s squad.

AT Manyuon | Nichols State University

Following an impressive two-year run with the Warriors, Manyuon will suit up for Nichols State. Manyuon was named to the NJCAA All-Region 11 Honorable Mention squad after scoring in double-figures 15 times on the year.

Nichols State is under the direction of fourth-year head coach Tevon Saddler.

Javeyn Martin | Rockhurst University

Martin departs for Rockhurst after two seasons wit the Warriors, including a breakout sophomore campaign. The guard appeared in 26 contests in 2025-26 for the Warriors and was twice named to the ICCAC Academic All-Region squad.

Martin will join a program in Rockhurst that posted a 23-7 overall record a year ago while advancing to the NCAA DII Midwest Regional tournament.

Sawyer Mayhugh | Mercer University

Mayhugh will team up with both LaMonte and Perkins II at Mercer after a strong debut season at Indian Hills. The redshirt-freshman earned NJCAA All-Region 11 Honorable Mention honors after appearing in 27 contests while averaging 8.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

Mercer is coming off a 19-13 campaign a season ago.

Chiang Ring | Florida International University

Ring will head to the Sunshine State to compete for NCAA DI Florida International. Ring was tapped as a NJCAA All-Region 11 Second-Team honoree and was a three-time ICCAC DI Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week. The sophomore averaged 10.4 points and a team-high 6.9 rebounds per contest on the year.

The Panthers are under the direction of first-year head coach Joey Cantens.

Vladyslav Semerych | University of Detroit Mercy

Semerych will head to Detroit Mercy after an impressive two-year stretch with the Warriors. The Ukraine native appeared in 59 career games at Indian Hills, including 30 starts while scoring more than 300 points to go along with more than 200 career rebounds.

The Titans are under the direction of third-year head coach Mark Montgomery.

Chaz Watson | Arkansas State University

Watson will head to NCAA DI Arkansas State of the Sun Belt Conference. Watson, who set a school record with 10 made three-point shots in a single game was named to the NJCAA All-Region 11 Second-Team squad following his debut season with the Warriors. The sophomore led the ICCAC with 83 made three-point shots to go along with 11.8 points per game.

The Red Wolves, under the direction of second-year head coach Ryan Pannone, posted a 20-12 overall record last season.
