Bohney Tabbed as NAIA Player of the Week

Oskaloosa–Kenny Bohney (Sr., Moorhead, Minn., Exercise Science) contributed in numerous ways, and for his efforts he was named NAIA Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday.

Bohney garnered his first national weekly award after helping William Penn to a 1-1 record, highlighted by a victory over (RV) Tennessee Wesleyan.

Bohney posted seven goals and three assists in an overtime loss to No. 8 Webber International last Friday, scoring on 60% of his 15 shots. He also managed five ground balls and one caused turnover.

The next day against TWU, he tallied five goals, two assists, and three ground balls.

For the year, the senior has 14 goals (on 28 total shots) with 10 assists. He has also tallied nine ground balls and one caused turnover. The senior is tied for eighth in the NAIA with 10 assists and is 14th with 24 points.

The award is the first for WPU this year.
