Coffee & Conversation Series Returning to Oskaloosa in 2026

OSKALOOSA, Iowa – The Mahaska Chamber & Development Group is bringing back its Coffee & Conversation series in early 2026, giving local residents a chance to hear directly from city, county, and state leaders about issues that matter to Mahaska County.

The events will be held at Smokey Row, 109 S. Market Street in Oskaloosa, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Coffee will be provided for all attendees, thanks to sponsorship from MidWestOne Bank.

Coffee & Conversation is designed to be an easy way for community members to meet elected officials, ask questions, and learn more about what is happening at the local and state level. The format is informal, and each date features a panel of speakers.

The 2026 Coffee & Conversation schedule includes:

January 10, 2026 – City of Oskaloosa and Mahaska County representatives

January 24, 2026 – State legislators:
• Iowa Senate District 19: Ken Rozenboom
• Iowa Senate District 44: Adrian Dickey
• Iowa House District 88: Helena Hayes
• Iowa House District 37: Barb Kniff-McCulla

February 14, 2026 – Topic and speakers to be announced

February 28, 2026 – State legislators:
• Iowa Senate District 19: Ken Rozenboom
• Iowa Senate District 44: Adrian Dickey
• Iowa House District 88: Helena Hayes
• Iowa House District 37: Barb Kniff-McCulla

March 14, 2026 – Topic and speakers to be announced

March 28, 2026 – State legislators:
