Gov. Reynolds appoints Jennifer Nicole Jensen as District Associate Judge 

DES MOINES– Today, Governor Kim Reynolds announced her appointment of Jennifer Nicole Jensen as a district associate judge in Judicial District 8A.   

Jensen, of Knoxville, Iowa, currently serves as an assistant state public defender. She received her undergraduate degree from Boise State University and law degree from Drake University Law School. 

Jensen fills a vacancy created following the retirement of the Hon. Rose Anne Mefford. Judicial District 8A includes Appanoose, Davis, Jefferson, Keokuk, Mahaska, Monroe, Poweshiek, Van Buren, Wapello and Washington counties.
