Oskaloosa baseball took a couple of tough losses yesterday versus DCG

GAME 1
Dallas Center-Grimes Varsity Mustangs scored 10 runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Oskaloosa Varsity Indians 19-4 on Monday.
Oskaloosa Varsity Indians got on the board in the first inning after Trey Parks doubled, scoring one run.
Dallas Center-Grimes Varsity Mustangs scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the second inning. Caethen Stocker doubled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, and Taitn Gray homered to right field, scoring two runs.
A passed ball extended the Dallas Center-Grimes Varsity Mustangs lead to 16-4 in the bottom of the third inning.
Chase Engel earned the win for Dallas Center-Grimes Varsity Mustangs. The starter allowed five hits and four runs (zero earned) over four innings, striking out five and walking none. Parks took the loss for Oskaloosa Varsity Indians. The pitcher went two-thirds of an inning, giving up seven runs (zero earned) on one hit, striking out none and walking three.
Jaden DeRonde led Oskaloosa Varsity Indians with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Lukas Toubekis, DeRonde, Jake North, Parks, and Maddux Ashman each collected one hit for Oskaloosa Varsity Indians.
Dallas Center-Grimes Varsity Mustangs accumulated 12 hits in the game. Gray went 3-for-3 at the plate and led the team with four runs batted in. Braydon Schyvinck, Tate Perrin, and Alec Isenhart each collected multiple hits for Dallas Center-Grimes Varsity Mustangs.

Oskaloosa Varsity Indians Keep It Close Against Dallas Center-Grimes Varsity Mustangs, Lose On Walk off
A walk-off left Oskaloosa Varsity Indians on the wrong end of a 5-2 defeat to Dallas Center-Grimes Varsity Mustangs on Monday at TBD. The game was tied at two in the bottom of the seventh when Taitn Gray homered to right field, scoring three runs.

Oskaloosa Varsity Indians jumped back into the lead in the top of the sixth inning after Ty Edgar doubled to right field, and Tate Peterson singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Peterson took the loss for Oskaloosa Varsity Indians. The pitcher went one-third of an inning, allowing three runs on three hits, striking out one and walking none.
