Buena Vista Sweeps Grinnell in Women’s Volleyball Match

Storm Lake, IA – Buena Vista University maintained their unbeaten streak in the 2024-25 women’s volleyball season with a commanding 3-0 sweep over Grinnell College on September 3 at Siebens Fieldhouse. Jadyn Rausch led Buena Vista’s attack with 18 total attempts, earning 7 kills in key moments. Meanwhile, Grinnell’s Millie Leonard registered 4 kills but faced resistance from Buena Vista’s solid blocking unit.

The third and final set was the most competitive, with Grinnell fighting back to keep the score close. Millie Leonard and Keira Sullivan each contributed multiple kills for Grinnell, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Buena Vista’s consistent play. Buena Vista managed to fend off Grinnell’s comeback attempts, closing the set 25-23.
