William Penn Nets 17 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

Oskaloosa–The William Penn softball team earned numerous academic honors as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its 2023-2024 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.

To be eligible for the award, honorees were required to have a 3.5 Grade Point Average during the 2023-2024 school year. A total of 873 student-athletes within the NAIA received the laurel.

WPU notched 17 award winners, including Karah Dunham (Sr., Weston, Mo., Human Services and Psychology), Liz Espinosa (Jr., Perris, Calif., Wellness and Recreation), Charley Geguzis (Sr., Williamsburg, Iowa, Business Management), Chelsey Huff (Jr., Douds, Iowa, Exercise Science), Zoey Jones (Sr., Ottumwa, Iowa, Elementary Education), Peyton Naranjo (Fr., Ripon, Calif., Biology), Alexis Price (So., Oskaloosa, Iowa, Elementary Education), Bailee Rinn (So., Omaha, Neb., Biology), Laila Smith (Fr., Olympia, Wash., Elementary Education), Tori Smith (Fr., Olympia, Wash., Secondary Education), Allyson Stewart (Sr., Delta, B.C., Nursing), Abby Thompson (Jr., Keokuk, Iowa, Secondary Education), Madisyn Tracy (So., Joplin, Mo., Nursing), Crystal Warren (Fr., Las Vegas, Nev., Education), Rebecca Warren (Jr., Las Vegas, Nev., Nursing), Abby Wilson (Sr., Calgary, Alberta, Biology and Nursing), and Emily Winkler (So., North Platte, Neb., Exercise Science).
