Statesmen of the Week: Breck Putzier and Ashlyn Hoffman

Oskaloosa–Men’s lacrosse player Breck Putzier (Jr., Minneapolis, Minn., Exercise Science) and women’s lacrosse player Ashlyn Hoffman (Sr., Bend, Ore., Nursing) have been named Statesmen of the Week for the week of March 4-10, presented by Gardner-Collier Jewelry.

Putzier was again a force offensively, scoring four goals with four assists against Ottawa (Kan.) last Saturday. The junior, who tallied 12 shots, managed one ground ball as well.

Hoffman was as efficient as she could be, tallying four goals on just four shots versus Ottawa last Saturday. The senior, who takes most of William Penn’s draw controls, won three of them and also tallied one ground ball.
