Osky JV Boys Basketball Falls To Indianola

The JV boys basketball team was in action against Indianola on Friday, December 9th. Indianola Indians came out hot and jumped to an early lead in the first quarter, but Osky was able to compose themselves defensively, as well as the score to make it 9-9 after 1 and 18-21 at the half in a back-and-forth contest. After a very good performance by both teams defensively in the 3rd quarter, the score was 28 to 24. In a tightly contested game between two good basketballteams the most important thing you can do is take care of the basketball by not turning it over.The Osky Indians made more mistakes than Indianola to finish the game leading to a 47-35defeat. I was very proud of the way we continued to play hard as a team, and we will continue to work in practice on how we can take care of the ball better.
