Runnin’ Rockets compete at Lake Keomah

Eddyville-Blakesburg Schools

From the Eddyville-Blakesburg cross country website:

The Runnin’ Rockets competed yesterday in the Lake Keomah Invitational hosted by Pekin HS. The boys finished 3rd, 5 points behind team champion Albia, while the girls finished 4th. Christopher Welch and Lucas David finished 1-3 to pace the boys, while Anna Tanner finished in 18th to lead the girls. Other times, places, and team standings were not available. “I feel that the effort was good, however, we still have some things to work on. I was glad we were able to compete against Albia as we will be seeing them a lot later in the year. It was also very exciting to have a full girls team for the first time in a while.”

The Rockets will run next week at the Oskaloosa Invitational
