Osky 8th Grade Volleyball Finds Success Against Pella Christian

The 8th grade volleyball ladies were in action at home last night against Pella Christian.

The A team won 3-0 with game scores of 25-9, 25-13, and 15-8. Leaders for the team were Cylee Smith with 8 kills and Jenna Harbour with 6. Celli Pilcher, Haylee Parker, Hannah VanArkle, and Ireland McGraw each contributed 1. Haylee had 12 assists and Celli had 8 digs. On the serving line, Haylee led the way with 10 aces, Hannah and Cylee each had 7, Jenna had 6 and Cadence Grubb had 2.

The B team went 2-1 with game scores of 15-25, 25-11, and 15-9. Kyleigh Carmer had 3 kills, Kennedi Wright and Kaylee Main each had 1. Kenna Grubb had 10 aces, Leah Lorentzen had 7, Kyleigh had 5, Kaylee had 3, Carly Hammond and Kennedi each had 1.

The girls have been working hard and making tons of improvement! Last nights match really showed that off! Come watch the girls this Thursday before the homecoming parade where all 3 8th grade teams will be taking on Pella!
