Willis Ira Luse, age 71, of Eddyville, IA, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Vista Woods Care Center in Ottumwa. He was born on November 17, 1950 to Richard and Margaret (Freeman) Luse.

Willie graduated from North Linn High School.

Willie married Mary Werner on September 17, 1994.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushrooming, scrapping, antiquing, and going to the casino.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Luse of Eddyville; father, Richard Luse of Cedar Rapids; children: Michelle (& Mark) Hocraffer of Cedar Rapids, Toni (& Scott) Delagardelle of Marion; step children: David (& Gina) McDonough of rural Eddyville, Danny McDonough of Kirkville, Dee (& Ray) Johansen of Newton; six grandchildren: Ben, Liza Delagardelle, Alyssa McDonough, Samantha (& Brandon) Jackson, Austin Johansen, Donnie Lindly; four great grandchildren: Cambrie, Shadow, Morgan, Jett; and one sister, Gloria (& Calvin) Waltke of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Luse, and step daughter, Denise Johnson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 5-8 p.m., at the Welcome Inn in Eddyville.
