Teresa Ehret, 65, died on May 11, 2022. Teresa was born on May 16, 1956 to Max and Agnes Tish Riley at Sigourney, Iowa.

Teresa was one of two sisters and attended school at Sigourney and following that, two additional years of college.

Teresa worked at various jobs in her lifetime including the Big Smith Overall Factory, over the road truck driver, and for TPI.

On April 7, 1972, Teresa was united in marriage to Albert Blommers and to this union two children were born: Michelle and Cory.

On June 2, 2001, Teresa and Marvin Ehret were united in marriage.

Teresa enjoyed Nascar racing, camping and attending her grandchildren’s events. She took great pride in having an immaculate home, and was a hard worker that always tried to provide for her family. Teresa was an excellent homemaker, cook, and had strong beliefs making her appear hard on the exterior and fragile on the interior. Teresa always shared anything she had with others. She was devoted to her family.

She is survived by her children, Michelle (Shawn) Van Gorp and Cory (Cassidy Gloria) Blommers; her grandchildren, Colby Van Gorp, Garret Pettyjohn, Cayley Blommers, Cory Blommers, Jr., Wyatt Blommers and Riley Blommers; her sister, Diana (Randy) Sherman; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Ehret; an infant brother, Mark Riley, and another brother, Pat Riley.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Holland-Coble Funeral Home in Montezuma.
A Graveside funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Jackson Township Cemetery.
