Oskaloosa 8th Grade Boys Basketball Continues To Grow

The 8th grade “A” team played Pella this past Monday. Pella got off to a fast start on offense and took an early lead. We were not able to get much going on offense and had some defensive mistakes that led to a Pella win. Pella won 68-47.

Heavon Knox- 3 points

Osky 8th grade “B” and “C” teams played Pella last Monday. The B team played a very good game but just came up short with the final score being 26-22

The C team couldn’t get anything going on Offense or Defense and lost by a score of 47-4

Last Tuesday the “A” team played Grinnell. Osky came out firing and took an early lead. Grinnell responded with a couple 3’s of their own. It was hard for Grinnell to get much in the paint as most of their points came from beyond the arch. Trey Parka had his way with Grinnell’s defense which led to an Indian win, 52-36.

Osky 8th grade boys traveled to Grinnell on Tuesday. The B game was a great game, at the end Osky led by 2 pts. with just seconds left but Grinnell went the length of the court and hit a 3 pointer to win the game 35-34

The 8th Grade team travels to Norwalk tonight, Pella Christian on Tuesday and play at home on Thursday against PCM.
