7th Grade Girls Team Over Pella

The 7th Grade girls basketball team played 3 games versus Pella last night in their 9th game of the season. In the A-game, the Osky girls played a great first half and had a halftime lead of 16 – 15. In the 2nd half, the Indians were able to hold off the Dutch and eventually won by a score of 35 – 30. The Indians were down 6 points at one point during the second quarter but battled back with some great defensive effort and unselfish basketball. The girls played really hard and played together and they should be very proud. We are now 6 – 3 on the season.

In the B game, the Osky girls played a really tough Dutch squad. The Osky girls played really hard but fell to the Dutch by a score of 8 – 27. These girls continue to get better and better and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

In the C game, the Osky girls played a really great game and won by a score of 20 – 15. We are really proud of this team as they had eight different people score! They were sharing the basketball and having a lot of fun. It was a great atmosphere and all the girls had fun. We were really proud of their effort and are excited with their progress!
