David Robbins Myers, age 77, of Albia, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021, at the Monroe County Hospital in Albia. David was born December 15, 1943, to John Leo and Helen Robbins (Bibb) Myers in Charlestown, West Virginia.

David enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and archery. He was also a big Trump supporter. While indoors, David like to shop online. He had many dogs over the years that he loved deeply, especially Ginger. David also loved his parrot named Pete.

David is survived by 1 sister, Kathy Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Myers; 2 wives, Debra Sue Myers and Patricia Ann Myers; and 2 brothers, John Leo Myers Jr. and Joseph Howard Myers.

Per David’s wishes, his body has been cremated and a private family burial will take place at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
