All-Tournament Award Leads Palmer to Heart Honor

Oskaloosa–Bailey Palmer (Sr., Ottumwa, Iowa, Biology) was one of the best on the lanes last weekend and she was rewarded for that by being named Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Bowler of the Week Monday.

Palmer collected her first career award after taking all-tournament laurels at the Warhawk Open. The senior placed third out of 210 bowlers with a 209.5 pin average over six games. She eclipsed the 200 mark in five of those rounds with a high of 244 (season high as well).

For the year, Palmer owns a 193.1 pin average in 29 games. She has tallied two top-10 performances and another top-25 effort.

The accolade is the first for the women’s program.
