Mark Alan Hudson, 61 of New Sharon, Iowa and formerly of Pittsburg, Kansas died November 7, 2019 at his home in New Sharon.
He was born July 12, 1958 in Burlington, Kansas the son of Richard and JoAnn Hudson.

Mark attended schools in Pittsburg, Kansas and then went on to Graduate from the Colorado School of Trades: Gunsmithing Program in Lakewood, Colorado.

Mark married Jodie Reid, they divorced, he later married Cindy Divine.

Mark worked at the Lake City Ammunition Plant in Independence, Kansas and was currently employed as a Gun Technician at Brownell’s Inc., Grinnell, Iowa. He was an avid sportsman, enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include Wife: Cindy (Divine) Hudson of Pittsburg, KS; Daughter: Kelsey (Hudson) (& Jordan) Kesler of Salt Lake City, UT; Stepson, Josh (& Raena) Reisdorph of Bates City, MO; Mother, JoAnn (Hudson) Triplett of Frontenac, KS; Brother, Richard Hudson of Pittsburg, KS; Sister, Cynthia Hudson (& Bob) of Eureka Springs, AR; Stepbrother, James (& Shirley) Triplett of Pittsburg, KS; Stepsister, Diana (& Tom) Richards of Jasper, MO; Granddaughters: Chloe Kesler of Salt Lake City, UT, and Kennedy and Gracelynn Reisdorph of Bates City, MO; along with numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Richard Hudson; Stepfather, Robert Triplett, Sr.; and Stepbrother, Robert Triplett Jr.

A Celebration of Life/Visitation/Reception will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the McVay Family Center, 101 N. Main Street in New Sharon.
Another Celebration of Life will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Mark A. Hudson Scholarship Fund (for the Iowa Valley Grinnell’s Gunsmith Technology Program); these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, In care of Mark Hudson, 522 South Broadway, Pittsburg, KS 66762.

Holland-Coble Funeral Home of New Sharon is in charge of arrangements in New Sharon and Bath-Naylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements being made in Pittsburg, Kansas.
