Join Oskaloosa Main Street and the Oskaloosa Area Chamber and Development Group for 10 days of celebrating local food options!

Throughout the 10 days of Restaurant Week (September 20-29), participating Oskaloosa restaurants will be offering up something special for customers. During the promotion, each of the seven participating restaurants will have a special dish available.

The theme for this year’s Oskaloosa Restaurant Week, “Farm to Fork,” is a nod to the community’s roots in agriculture and a celebration of local dining options. Restaurants have used the theme to inspire their dishes: some incorporating it into the name, and others using it to influence ingredients.

Emily Brown, Oskaloosa Main Street Director described the event, “Restaurant Week is a chance for the community to celebrate local establishments and expand our horizons. For our restaurants, it’s a chance to try something different and connect with customers in a fun way.”

A variety of restaurants are participating in this year’s promotion including: Wanderlunch, Wood Iron Grille, Tassel Ridge Winery, Riverside II Family Restaurant, Julie’s Home Style Café, Hunter’s Gift and Coffee Café, and Barnyard Tenderloin Xpress.

As diners plan their Restaurant Week expeditions, they are encouraged to track their tasty travels with a Restaurant Week Passport. Passports are available at participating restaurants as well as the Chamber office at 222 1st Avenue East.

Each time a guest orders a new Restaurant Week special, their Passport will be marked accordingly. Each mark along the way constitutes one entry into a drawing at the end of the promotion. Seven gift cards, one from each of the participating restaurants will be up for grabs. The drawing will take place October 2nd.
