8th Grade Girls Downed By Grinnell

Last night the 8th grade girls took on their toughest opponent yet from Grinnell. The A team lost by a score of 26-50 and the B team lost 12-4. The scores really do not do our girls justice for how well they played.

The A team got off to rough start by getting down as much as 20 points in the first quarter. The Indians came crawling back in the second and third quarter by narrowing the deficit to nearly single digits. In the 4th quarter the Grinnell girls pulled away by hitting 4-5 3 pointers and having solid defensive play. The B team had many great shots but they did not want to find the bottom of the net. The girls will continue to improve and establish great team chemistry as the season progresses. Please come out and support us tomorrow at the middle school at 4:30 pm! Go Indians!
