8th Grade Girls Basketball Continue To Improve

The girls were in action twice last week with our two best showings. We continue to get better every game!

Tuesday we were at PC. The girls handled the press very well and moved the ball up the floor getting lots of good looks. We struggled to put the ball in the hole but continued to battle and kept it close until PC had a big 4th quarter. The girls fell short 21 to 45.

The B game the girls had to handle a lot of pressure from the PC A team and struggled to move the ball up the court. The girls never quit and battled the whole game. 4 to 64.

On Thursday the girls were back in action against Knoxville. They came out ready to play and had some shots fall early. With the confidence of shots falling and good defensive pressure the girls took off and looked like a new team! We were pushing the ball up the court, being aggressive offensively and had a lot of fun! The girls won 47 to 8.

The second game was a back and forth battle and finished with the girls on top 21 to 18! Go Indians!
